Ruby Silvious is a Philippines-born, US-based artist who has found an ingenious way to regenerate used tea bags into stunningly intricate works of art.She draws, paints, prints and collages moody, evocative and sometimes whimsical art on used teabag paper.Silvious attended Art Print Residency in Arenys de Munt, a municipality in Catalonia, Spain. While at the printmaking residency, she found time each evening to paint a used tea bag, usually inspired by random activities or places she had explored that day.By the end of her stay, she had amassed several used tea bags and a small, intimate collection of miniature paintings. In 2015 she started a project called 363 Days of Tea, a visual daily record of her impression of the moment, using the emptied-out tea bag as her canvas, and altering it to create a new work of art every day for 363 days.Silvious wants viewers…
Doubts, dis-beliefs, fears, insecurities, sadness, pain and lack are all pointers. Experiencing them shows you exactly what you need to change. You are given a choice; wrap them around yourself like a blanket, content to live with them forever, or release them with love. Free will is yours. ~ Creator
When many of us enter into the world, we are given parameters in which we might measure ‘success’, goals which we ‘should’ pursue, destinations to where we should go, all measurements that come from our family, our friends, our work, our upbringing and our education. We are constantly fed ideas about looking outside of ourselves and comparing our progress to that of other people. For a time, these pursuits may work for us, but then there is always something missing, something that isn’t the ‘real’ us. There is a lack of commitment, a paucity of joy, especially when our expectations do not come into being, when we feel that we have failed in our mission.
There might come along in your life something that happens, whether it be losing that job which was to be another step on the ladder…
The Ancient Maple – Grandmother Tree. This grandmother lives in a middle of a rock pile. the three branching trunks signify she may have been cut at one time and regrew. Grandmothers can be stubborn!
A grandmother is a really special person. I remember going to my grandmother’s house when I was a little girl–it was literally my favorite place to go. My grandmother and I would go to the thrift store and buy used clothing, then spend the morning sewing doll clothes and repurposing those old clothes for amazing new clothes for me–skirts that swirled out wide and colorfully printed tops. We’d go out into the garden and pick herbs, and she’d cook up an incredible pot of mushroom soup. She was full of generosity and love and always fostered my creativity and joy. My other grandmother was quite different–she was a bit of a firecracker, sassy and short-tempered…
Simple. Basics. There is something charming about writing with a stick in the sand. Sound effects are not needed. Fireworks are not needed. A noisy world isn’t better than a quiet one. Meaning is important. Visual effects are not. Music doesn’t have to surround everything. Simple silence is also good.
Life itself is not to distract you from the meaning of life. Diversion is not the meaning of life. To get your mind off something is not the meaning of life.
Life isn’t something to just get through. Consider life a canoe ride that you paddle. You don’t want to miss it. Life is what you are here for. Life in the world is an avenue of life. It is not a race you run. It is not an extravaganza. Life is not meant to be a gilded lily.
“Greetings. We are the Arcturian Council. We are pleased to connect with all of you.
We are synchronizing our vibration with so many other collectives here in the ninth dimension, because we love that feeling of connection that we get when we are on the same wavelength as our colleagues in the Pleiadian, Andromedan, Sirian, Lyran, and other star systems throughout the galaxy. We get such a thrill from experiencing that synergistic effect that comes from working together, from collaborating with other collectives that we have so much in common with.
We also get to discover some new perspectives, some new ideas, some new approaches to helping all of you there on Earth, and we send that signal to all of you so that you can feel the value of harmonizing, of coming together, of looking for the commonalities between you, so that you too can work together towards that…
I’d like to dispel a large myth that has been used AGAINST the spiritual community at large. Yes that’s right, there are idea’s that this community has been TAUGHT that are not based on truth, that have filtered down from a very dark agenda to prevent ascension and keep humanity trapped in 3D. One of those idea’s is that by speaking about something, you draw it to you.
It is true that when you project fear, you create fear. Yes. However, it is not true to say that when you acknowledge fear you create fear, in fact something remarkable happens when you do that. You actually clear it out of your system and disempower it completely. Then you never have to focus on what you want again because in the absence of fear all you have is what you want.
Ask yourself why these same beings would continually tell humanity only to focus on what they want more of and not anything else, which takes daily practice, constant reinforcing, when it’s far easier to simply collapse the field of the “anything else”. Why couldn’t they teach what it takes for that collapsing to occur because when it does a person no longer has anything to ignore.
Emotions are fields of energy, dynamic and alive because of the amount of focus given to them by the human. The trick is not to no longer focus on it, but to collapse it so that there is nothing there to build upon.
Should we look into unresolved fears and distortions? Kelly is addressing ‘spiritual bypassing’, constantly focusing on the positive and not dealing with what has not been cleared, seeing what isn’t ‘divine’.
