In many ways The Law of One appears to turn morality upon its head. Ra argues that since there is but one being in creation, the Infinite Creator, all things serve this infinite creator—even those things which most of us would typically see as destructive, counter productive, or even evil. All things that are less than infinity are viewed as merely distortions of the Law of One.

The great archrival of God in Christian mythology is the devil or Satan. In the Law of One, the behind the scenes devilry is carried out by the Orion group led by the rather gruesome and self-serving reptilian race.
